9.15am - fresh strawberries and grapes that Ritesh had packed up for me , with some lemon yogurt, at work.11.15am - Ritesh's signature turkey-avocado sandwich (with sprouts) and some super-spicy potato chips, at work. Yes, early lunch - that 6am bootcamp makes you ravenous!
1.20pm - a supposedly all natural energy drink that I found in my desk drawer, left over from the Whole Life Expo earlier this year.
7.37pm - flax-seed spaghetti w/ basil chicken chili from Bristol Farms and some broccoli broiled w/ lemon butter, at home with Ritesh.
7.54pm - lemon bar from Bristol Farms and some lavender ice cream from Whole Foods. Tasted suspiciously like my body lotion...

This is quite possibly one of the greatest blogs ever. Btw, maybe you're just a good cook, or go to pricey restaurants, but the food in the west coast looks so much better than it does in the east coast.
Aw, thanks! Glad you like it.
You know, I think it’s the light that does it - the quality of light in California just has a way of making things look good, not sure of the why and how, beyond the latitude...
It's certainly not a case of pricey restaurants - most of the places we go to serve lunch/dinner for 2 for under $20...
