10.52am - turmeric-hazelnut roll from Breadbar, outside work.10.52am - pineapple juice, outside work. This is the little patch of bamboo by our parking structure.
1.36pm - in my ongoing search for the perfect Thai green curry, I decided I might as well give Natalee a try, if only because that's also my little goddaughter's name - so Nathalie, this one's for you: Your name on a restaurant front in Beverly Hills!
1.44pm - and this is the actual green curry. Fresher veggies than at Tuk Tuk, but the tofu wasn't great either, and the color of the curry again is so not right...
2.09pm - an American size plate of Thai fried banana, with some serious amount of batter around them. You'd have to skip the curry to be able to eat all these - two was my best effort.
2.15pm - Chinese fortune and almond cookies with the bill. Nice touch, but doesn't really jive with the authenticity thing they purport to have going...
8.32pm - It turned out to be Laura's proposition to have dinner at her house. We were planning on a dinner out, but through a whole string of unfortunate circumstances this ended up not working out. So dinner at her house it was, with another chicken variation from Hedi's inexhaustible supply of amazing chicken recipes (this one prepared with soy sauce, lemon and capers), spinach, couscous and salad with drunken goat cheese.
